Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

These documents govern your use of Tydal at www.tydal.co and related apps, including our Chrome extension. Please read them before creating an account, starting a trial, or connecting a website.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and the operator of the Tydal service (“Tydal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using Tydal, creating an account, starting a trial, or clicking to accept, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Tydal on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company, and “you” includes that company.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Tydal is a software platform that helps businesses research keywords, plan a content calendar, generate SEO and AI-search oriented articles (including images, links, and formatting), and optionally publish that content to connected destinations. Depending on your plan and account history, Tydal may also include outreach tools such as Reddit lead discovery, comment and DM assistance, and a Chrome extension.

We may add, change, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, AI citations, sales, or any particular business result. SEO and AI search outcomes depend on factors we do not control, including your site, niche, competition, and third-party algorithms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You need an account to use most of the service. Accounts are provided through our authentication provider. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate registration information
  • Keeping login credentials confidential
  • All activity under your account, including by teammates you invite
  • Notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised

We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that violate these Terms, appear fraudulent, or create risk for Tydal or other users.

3. Plans, trials, billing, and cancellation

Paid access is billed through Stripe. Current standard pricing is a short free trial (typically 3 days), then a monthly subscription (currently $99/month), unless a different price, term, or promotion is shown at checkout. Taxes may apply. Prices and included usage (such as article volume, keyword generations, or credits) can change; we will show the amount due before you pay or, for renewals, in accordance with applicable law.

  • Trials. A trial may require a payment method. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the paid plan begins and you will be charged. Some features (for example auto-publishing or extra keyword generation) may require an active paid plan even during a trial.
  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel at any time in Settings. You keep access through the end of the current paid period. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not usually refund time already paid.
  • Failed payments. If a charge fails, we may retry, restrict features, or suspend the account until payment succeeds.
  • Refunds. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we choose to issue a goodwill credit. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in account suspension.

Legacy or grandfathered plans, if any, follow the terms shown in your account at the time those plans were offered.

4. Your content and product information

You retain ownership of content you submit to Tydal, including website URLs, product descriptions, brand details, keywords you add, and edits you make to articles (“Customer Content”). You grant Tydal a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, copy, and display Customer Content solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service for you (including generating articles, images, and publish payloads).

You represent that:

  • You have the rights needed to submit Customer Content and connect your sites
  • Customer Content does not infringe others’ intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
  • You will not upload unlawful, harmful, or deceptive material, or credentials you are not authorized to use

5. AI-generated output

Tydal uses third-party machine learning models to research topics, draft articles, generate images, and score keywords. Output is probabilistic. It can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or similar to content seen elsewhere. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, fact-checking, and deciding whether to publish anything Tydal produces.

To the extent permitted by law, as between you and Tydal, you may use generated articles and images for your business, subject to these Terms and any third-party model or stock constraints. We do not warrant that output is unique, non-infringing, or fit for regulated claims (health, finance, legal, and similar). Do not rely on Tydal as professional advice.

We may use de-identified or aggregated usage patterns to operate and improve the service. We do not sell your unpublished drafts as a standalone product.

6. Publishing and integrations

If you connect WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Shopify, a webhook, or another destination, you authorize Tydal to create, update, or publish content using the credentials, tokens, or URLs you provide, according to the settings you choose (including live vs draft). You must have authority to grant that access. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping API keys, application passwords, and OAuth grants secure
  • Configuring CMS fields, blogs, and URL paths correctly
  • Complying with each platform’s terms, acceptable use, and app policies
  • What goes live on your site, including SEO claims and images

Third-party platforms may change APIs, rate-limit, or revoke access. Tydal is not liable for downtime, failed publishes, or content that a platform rejects or later removes.

7. Outreach, Reddit, and the Chrome extension

Some accounts can use lead discovery, suggested comments or DMs, high-karma posting, Autopilot, or the Tydal Chrome extension. Those features interact with third-party sites (including Reddit) under your accounts. You must follow Reddit’s User Agreement, each subreddit’s rules, and applicable anti-spam and marketing laws. We do not control Reddit. Using automation or posting at high volume can lead to filters, bans, or account loss. You accept that risk. Do not use Tydal to harass, impersonate, scrape in violation of a site’s terms, or evade platform enforcement.

8. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Break the law or infringe others’ rights
  • Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or bypass rate limits or security
  • Resell, scrape, or systematically copy Tydal except as we allow in writing
  • Use the service to generate malware, scams, or deceptive SEO (cloaking, keyword stuffing intended to manipulate, fake reviews)
  • Misrepresent affiliation with Tydal
  • Use another user’s account without permission

We may investigate and remove content or disable access if we reasonably believe these rules were broken.

9. Our intellectual property

Tydal, including software, designs, trademarks, documentation, and the arrangement of the service, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the service for your internal business during a paid or trial period, in line with your plan.

10. Third-party services

Tydal relies on independent providers (for example Clerk for sign-in, Stripe for payments, hosting and databases, AI model APIs, keyword and SEO data APIs, analytics, and CMS platforms you connect). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing. An outage or policy change at a provider can affect Tydal. We are not responsible for third-party sites linked from the service.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ARTICLES, KEYWORD DATA, DOMAIN RATINGS, OR AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TYDAL AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO TYDAL FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR, IF GREATER AND REQUIRED BY LAW, THE MINIMUM AMOUNT THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Tydal against claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from: (a) Customer Content or content you publish via Tydal; (b) your use of integrations or third-party platforms; (c) your violation of these Terms or of law; or (d) disputes between you and your customers or readers.

14. Termination

You may stop using Tydal and cancel as described above. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing would create legal or security risk. After termination, your license ends. We may delete account data after a reasonable retention period, except where we must keep records for billing, security, or legal reasons. Provisions that should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) remain in effect.

15. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be announced by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires consent.

16. General

These Terms are the entire agreement for the service and replace prior agreements on the same subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience only. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Tydal, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you also keep mandatory local protections. Courts or arbitration forums with jurisdiction over the operator may hear disputes, unless a non-waivable consumer venue applies.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tydal collects, uses, shares, and stores personal information when you visit tydal.co, create an account, or use the product (including the Chrome extension). It should be read with the Terms of Service.

1. Who is responsible

Tydal is the controller of personal information we collect for our own business (accounts, billing, product analytics). For Customer Content you store in Tydal (articles, keywords, site credentials you connect), we process that data to provide the service to you. If you have questions, use the contact details below.

2. Information we collect

You provide: name and email (via sign-up), website URL and product or niche details, keywords, article edits, support messages, and integration details such as CMS URLs, API tokens, application passwords, OAuth grants, webhook URLs, and field mappings.

From your use of the product: calendar and article records, publish history and destination URLs, keyword research results, domain rating lookups for URLs you enter, settings (language, quotas), and, if you use outreach features, lead lists, draft comments or DMs, queue status, and related Reddit identifiers you choose to process.

From authentication and payments: Clerk processes sign-in (which may include email, Google or similar OAuth profile data, and session identifiers). Stripe processes payment method, subscription, invoice, and transaction data. We receive limited billing status (for example active, trialing, past due) and Stripe customer or subscription IDs, not your full card number.

Automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, referring URL, and diagnostic logs. We use cookies and similar technologies for sessions (required to stay signed in) and privacy-oriented product analytics (currently Umami and Datafa.st).

We do not require you to send special-category data (health, precise geolocation, government IDs). Please do not include that in product briefs or support tickets.

3. How we use information

  • Create and secure your account, and provide the features you request
  • Run keyword research, generate and store articles and images, and publish when you enable it
  • Bill you, prevent fraud, and manage trials, upgrades, and cancellations
  • Send service emails (receipts, security, material product or legal notices)
  • Monitor reliability, debug, and improve the product
  • Comply with law and enforce these Terms

We may send occasional product updates. You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. Transactional messages will still be sent.

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the service you requested); legitimate interests (securing the product, understanding aggregate usage, improving features), balanced against your rights; consent where we ask for it; and legal obligation (tax, accounting, lawful requests).

4. AI processing

Product descriptions, URLs, keywords, and article context may be sent to AI providers (including OpenAI and Google Gemini) to generate text, scores, and images. Those providers process data under their terms and may host infrastructure outside your country. Do not submit secrets you do not want processed by those vendors. We configure providers as customers of their APIs, not as a consumer chatbot you paste into publicly.

5. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share data with processors who help us run Tydal, only as needed:

  • Clerk (authentication)
  • Stripe (payments)
  • Supabase and our hosting/infrastructure providers (storage and compute)
  • OpenAI and Google (model inference)
  • Keyword and SEO data vendors (for example DataForSEO-style APIs and Ahrefs domain rating)
  • Umami and Datafa.st (analytics)
  • Platforms you connect (WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Shopify, or your webhook endpoint) when you publish or test a connection
  • Professional advisors, or authorities, if required by law or to protect rights and safety

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, personal information may transfer under appropriate confidentiality, and we will continue to honor this policy or provide notice of changes.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

  • Essential. Session and authentication cookies so you can sign in and use the app.
  • Analytics. First- or third-party scripts that help us understand traffic and conversions in aggregate. They are not used to run cross-site advertising profiles for Tydal.

You can block non-essential cookies in your browser; the core product may still require session cookies to function.

7. Retention

We keep account and product data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward so you can return, we can complete billing, or we can resolve disputes. You may request deletion (see below). Backup copies can persist for a limited time. Payment records are kept as required for tax and accounting. Logs are kept for a shorter operational window unless needed for security investigations.

8. Security

We use HTTPS in transit, access controls, and encryption of integration secrets where the product stores them. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You should use a unique password, protect API keys, and revoke CMS tokens if a device is lost. Notify us at the email below if you believe there has been unauthorized access.

9. International transfers

Tydal and several processors operate in the United States and other countries. If you access the service from the EEA, UK, or elsewhere, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other locations that may not have the same data-protection laws. We use vendors that offer contractual safeguards customary for SaaS (such as standard contractual clauses) where required.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents may also have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as “sale” is commonly defined, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise rights, email zayan.shzad@gmail.com from the address on your account. We may need to verify your identity. You may also close your account in the product where that control exists. You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority if you are in the EEA/UK.

11. Children

Tydal is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16 (or 13 where that is the relevant age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Do Not Track

Browsers may send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for responding, so the service does not alter behavior solely based on that signal.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the product or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material updates may be communicated by email or in the product. Continued use after the effective date means you acknowledge the updated policy.
